Vice President of Operations

Joseph, a seasoned oral health professional since 1994, leads Smile Dental Services (SDS) with expertise in both clinical and corporate settings. He is recognized for innovative business strategies and strong relationships with dental professionals and California’s state dental program administrators. At SDS, he brings advanced procedures and ensures top-tier patient care. In 2021, Joseph launched a mobile dentistry program serving rural California and Nevada, securing funding from health plan partners and oral health organizations to expand access to quality dental care.

Joseph is an active member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is trained in Lean Six Sigma, a team-oriented management methodology focused on customer satisfaction and process efficiency. Additionally, he is certified by the California Association of Dental Plans as a Procedural Quality Assurance Consultant. Joseph also holds the Certified Management Consultant designation and is an active member of the IAPO International Association of Professional Management Consultants.

As Vice President of Operations, Joseph provides strategic guidance to the SDS leadership team, partnering with them to develop and implement initiatives that drive the organization’s success and sustained growth. He works closely with the Dental Office Operations Team to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience and the highest standard of care. Joseph leads the development of strategic goals across all departments, including Administration, Operations, and Business Development, to ensure operational excellence and organizational alignment.
